Job Description
Dental Haven is a new and rapidly growing family and cosmetic dental practice in Middletown, Rhode Island. We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and motivated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team and help deliver exceptional preventive and periodontal care in a modern, patient-focused environment.

Our practice is committed to providing high-quality dentistry while creating an outstanding patient experience. We are looking for a hygienist who enjoys educating patients, building long-term relationships, and working collaboratively with the doctor and team to provide excellent clinical care.

Experienced hygienists are preferred, but we also welcome hygenists early in their careers in a supportive and growth-oriented practice. Required Qualifications
Current Rhode Island license to practice dental hygiene (RDH)
Current CPR/BLS certification
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality care
Ability to work efficiently while maintaining exceptional patient care
Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Preferred Qualifications
Five (5) or more years of clinical dental hygiene experience
Bilingual in English and Portuguese or English and Spanish
Experience with digital radiography and modern dental software
Experience educating patients on periodontal health and preventive care
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental hygiene examinations
Provide prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing as indicated
Take diagnostic dental radiographs
Perform periodontal charting and assess oral health conditions
Educate patients on oral hygiene, home care, and preventive dentistry
Assist the doctor in identifying and discussing treatment needs
Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
Follow all infection control and sterilization protocols
Help create a welcoming, comfortable experience for every patient
Collaborate with the doctor and team to ensure efficient patient care
Compensation & Benefits
$50.00–$55.00 per hour for experienced hygienists. Early-career hygienists are encouraged to apply. Compensation will be competitive and based on experience.

Schedule
Part-time position initially providing coverage on Mondays, Tuesdays, or both.

As our patient schedule continues to fill, there is an opportunity to transition into a full-time position (up to 5 days per week - flexible scheduling).
