We are a family practice located in Barrington, looking for a full time hygienist to join our team! We have an incredibly dedicated team with a commitment to excellence, integrity and high-quality oral care for our patients. We see patients Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday & one Saturday a month
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated dental hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about oral health, patient care, and has excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Conduct dental cleanings and preventive procedures
Take dental x-rays and intraoral photos
Perform oral cancer screenings
Educate patients on oral hygiene and proper care
Record patient information accurately in electronic health records (Dentrix)
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Administer local anesthetic as needed
Qualifications:
Valid dental hygienist license in Illinois
CPR certification
Strong attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Proficient in using dental software (Dentrix)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $52.00 - $60.00 per hour
