Take dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring proper technique and patient comfort while adhering to infection prevention protocols.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to enhance their understanding of dental health..
Follow strict infection control procedures, including aseptic techniques and sterilization of dental equipment, to uphold healthcare standards.
Requirements
Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current certification to perform dental cleaning procedures.
Ability to perform patient care with compassion, excellent communication skills, and client-focused service delivery.
Knowledge of healthcare infection prevention and control standards, including HIPAA compliance management and maintaining patient confidentiality.
