Dental Hygienist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality oral healthcare to our patients. You will work closely with the dentist to ensure the overall oral health of our patients.

Responsibilities:

- Perform dental cleanings and oral examinations

- Take dental x-rays

- Administer local anesthesia as needed

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques

- Perform periodontal charting and assist in treatment planning

- Apply fluoride treatments and sealants

- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Qualifications:

- Valid Virginia Dental Hygiene license

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene

- Knowledge of dental office procedures and protocols

- Familiarity with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques

- Ability to operate medical imaging equipment for dental radiographs

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices
