Job Description
Registered Dental Hygienist – Part-Time
Gilbert Smiles is looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team!
We are a patient-focused dental office that values quality care, teamwork, and creating a comfortable, positive experience for our patients. We're looking for a hygienist who is confident in providing excellent care while also being personable, reliable, and willing to work together as part of our team.
Responsibilities
Provide thorough routine cleanings and periodontal therapy, including SRP
Take digital X-rays as needed
Perform periodontal charting and accurately document clinical findings
Educate patients on oral health, home care, and recommended treatment
Identify areas of concern and communicate findings with the doctor
Maintain accurate and complete clinical notes
Keep treatment rooms clean, organized, and prepared for patients
Follow proper sterilization, infection control, and OSHA guidelines
Help maintain an efficient hygiene schedule while providing a great patient experience
Work closely with the doctor, assistants, and front office team
What We're Looking For
Current Arizona Dental Hygienist license
Current CPR certification
Local anesthesia certification, as applicable
Strong communication and patient-care skills
Dependable and punctual
Comfortable treating periodontal patients and performing SRP
Able to work independently while still being a team player
Dentrix experience is required
Schedule
Wednesday & Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Second Friday of each month: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Compensation
$45–$50 per hour
