Job Description
Overview
At the heart of our company is a simple but powerful belief: we are a People Business First, and a Dental Business Second company.
We seek associates who understand that providing excellent dentistry is just part of the equation. The real impact comes from how we treat people-our patients, our team and our community.
We are committed to and value everyone on our team. We show this every day by prioritizing each individual’s different needs, such as work/life balance, professional growth, recognition for talent & effort, and financial goals.
This is a long-standing private practice that has served the community for over a decade. We have mentorship, camaraderie, and is a highly lucrative position for the right person. We are a fully digital office using Dentrix Ascend software, digital scanners ( Planmeca) plus AI to better enhance our patient experience.
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring optimal oral health for our patients. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dental team in delivering comprehensive care.
We are looking for professionals who:
Deliver high-quality, ethical dental care.
Genuinely care about their patients' experiences and well-being.
Communicate with empathy, respect and clarity.
Believe that long-term success is built on trust and relationships, not just procedures and goals.
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical histories, and reviewing medical records to ensure safe treatment planning.
Take and develop medical imaging such as X-rays while adhering to all infection control protocols.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, treatment plans, and medical records.
Support infection control procedures by following aseptic techniques and ensuring sterilization of instruments.
Monitor patient progress and communicate findings related to dental terminology, anatomy, or other relevant health information.
Qualifications
Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current CPR certification.
Proven experience in general dentistry or pediatric dentistry environments with knowledge of pediatric dentistry best practices.
Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, HIPAA regulations, and medical coding standards.
Experience with Dentrix Ascend is preferred but not required.
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate clearly.
Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs monitoring, and medical imaging procedures.
Join us to make a difference in patients’ lives through compassionate care, technical expertise, and a commitment to excellence!
