Join Our Team at Oasis Family Dentistry!
We are looking for a friendly, patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our growing team! Oasis Family Dentistry is a privately owned practice led by Dr. Hung, who believes in open communication, teamwork, and creating a positive work environment for both patients and staff.
We take pride in providing exceptional patient care while maintaining a supportive and enjoyable workplace. Our team genuinely enjoys working together, and we're looking for someone who values collaboration, kindness, and helping patients achieve healthier smiles.
About Our Team
Our office is made up of experienced professionals who support one another and work together to provide outstanding care:
Dr. Hung – Owner and Dentist who maintains an open-door policy and values team input.
Nia – Office Manager with 5 years at Oasis Family Dentistry and over 13 years of dental industry experience in both clinical and administrative roles.
Abby – Front Office Coordinator who has been with us for 2 years and helps support both front office and sterilization duties.
Maria – Dental Assistant with us for almost 3 years and has over 10 years of experience and a true asset to our clinical team.
Keylee – Dental Assistant who brings a positive attitude and eagerness to learn every day.
We believe in cross-training and teamwork. There is no "front office versus back office" mentality here—we all work together to help our patients and each other.
Our previous hygienist is relocating out of state, and we're excited to find the next rockstar hygienist to join our family!
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, and other hygiene procedures within the scope of practice.
Obtain and review medical and dental histories.
Take diagnostic radiographs as needed.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and preventive care.
Assist in identifying and documenting treatment needs.
Maintain accurate clinical records using Open Dental.
Follow infection control and sterilization protocols.
Collaborate with the doctor and team to provide exceptional patient care and a positive patient experience.
Qualifications
Current Washington State Dental Hygienist license.
Current CPR certification.
Strong communication and patient education skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with the team.
Commitment to providing excellent patient care.
Experience with Open Dental is a plus, but not required.
