Job Description
Overview
We have an opening on Tuesday and Thursday's for a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist. Work both days or just one. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for patient care and a commitment to promoting oral health.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
Conduct dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing procedures to maintain optimal oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the management of patient records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Utilize Dentrix software for scheduling appointments and maintaining patient information.
Skills
Strong knowledge of general dentistry principles and techniques.
Excellent patient assessment skills to identify oral health issues effectively.
Ability to work efficiently within a team-oriented environment while maintaining high standards of care.
Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data protection.
Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with colleagues.
