Job Description
We are a privately owned single doctor general dental practice seeking a part-time/Full-time hygienist who is positive, motivated, and outgoing.
Our focus is patient centered care, building relationships to help patients achieve their dental goals.
A normal daily schedule is 2 doc columns, with two hygiene columns; 1 hour for routine hygiene, expanded time for SRP and new patient exams, and a 1 hour lunch.
The position is open for 4 days per week, typically seeing patients M9-6, T8-4, W8-4, R8-2, with potential for Fridays appointment.
Specific duties include:
Greeting patients, taking their vitals, and seating them in a timely fashion
Taking necessary xrays, ideally including pano and occasional cbct
Removing plaque and tartar from teeth
Assess levels of periodontal disease and recommend treatment
Document patient care and communicate with the doctor
Maintain instrumentation
Assigned tasks as needed
Ordering hygiene supplies
- local anesthesia
- occasional intraoral scanning
