Dental Hygienist

Job Summary
Our solo dental practice is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental team 1-4 days per week. The ideal candidate has a passion for patient care and providing a positive patient experience, helping patients achieve optimal oral health.

Duties
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and periodontal treatments.

Assess patient oral health by taking vital signs, reviewing health histories and performing patient assessments.

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, providing an individualized care plan.

Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, treatment plans, and progress notes.

Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment.

Communicate effectively with patients and team members.

Adhere to HIPPA guidelines to keep patient information confidential and secure.

Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care.

Skills
Experience working in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.

Proficient in taking vital signs and conducting thorough patient assessments.

Strong understanding of infection control procedures and protocols.

Excellent documentation review skills to maintain accurate patient records.

Familiarity with dental terminology to communicate effectively within the practice.

Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and compliance.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team while providing exceptional patient care.
