Job Description
Central Dental is seeking a talented and dedicated Dental Hygienist to become an integral part of our exceptional team of oral health professionals.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
Perform dental hygiene assessments, including reviewing medical and dental histories
Provide preventive care including professional cleanings, scaling and root planning and fluoride treatments
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventative care
Capture diagnostic images including bitewing, panoramic, and periapical X-rays
Capture digital impressions and photographs using intraoral scanners
Assist the dentist in developing and discussing treatment plans
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
Follow infection prevention and sterilization protocols
Qualifications
Registered Dental Hygienist license in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO)
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist.
Experience with Dentrix is considered an asset
Familiarity with digital radiography, intraoral scanning, or digital dentistry technologies is an asset
