Dental Hygienist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform dental cleanings, and assist in maintaining a smooth and efficient dental office environment. Responsibilities
Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
Maintain accurate patient records using AbelDent or similar dental management software
Manage patient follow-ups, and treatment plans
Ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of dental instruments and operatory areas
Support pediatric patients and address their specific needs with patience and care
Deliver excellent customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns professionally
Requirements
Valid Dental Hygienist license in good standing
Experience with AbelDent or similar dental practice management software preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
Bilingual skills (Serbo-Croatian) are highly desirable but not necessary to serve
Background in dental assisting or general dental office experience preferred
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages
Familiarity with orthodontics procedures is a bonus
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Pay: $45.00-$52.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
