Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our small family centered dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting oral health education. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures and excellent patient interaction skills.
Duties
Perform thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and oral examinations.
Conduct dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth using appropriate tools and techniques.
Utilize medical imaging to assist in diagnosing dental issues and developing treatment plans.
Review documentation and maintain accurate medical records for each patient visit.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventative care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:
Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge relevant to dentistry.
Experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with documentation review processes and maintaining patient records.
Ability to perform patient assessments effectively and communicate findings clearly.
