Job Description
**This position is for assisted hygiene. You will have an assistant to seat patients, take x-rays, break down rooms, polish, and offer general assistance, as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Conduct oral cancer screenings
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide recommendations for at-home care
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and dental team members
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and patient records
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
