Join Our Team at Oaks Dental Care — Full-Time Dental Hygienist Wanted
Oaks Dental Care, a well-established, family-owned private practice in The Villages, FL, is seeking a full-time licensed Dental Hygienist (Monday-Thursday) to join our dedicated team of professionals. Located in a Charter School Eligible area near Ocala, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality patient care in a welcoming and supportive environment.
We are looking for a reliable, compassionate team player with a strong work ethic who is committed to excellence in patient care.
Responsibilities Include:
Greet and prepare patients for hygiene treatment with a caring and calming demeanor
Perform comprehensive oral evaluations, including periodontal assessments
Provide hygiene services per the dentist's treatment plan, including:
Prophylaxis
Periodontal scaling and root planning
Debridement
Fluoride treatments and sealants
Capture high-quality intraoral photos and digital radiographs
Conduct meticulous charting (perio and hard tissue) and maintain detailed patient records
Maintain, sterilize, and prepare instruments and equipment
Contribute positively to the team environment and assist as needed with additional duties
Qualifications:
Active Florida Dental Hygiene License
Proficient in digital x-rays and charting
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Team-oriented with a positive attitude
