Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring their comfort and safety. You will play a vital role in promoting oral health and educating patients on proper dental hygiene practices. The position requires proficiency in various dental systems and a commitment to infection control standards.
Responsibilities
Perform dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Take and record vital signs as part of patient assessments.
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software systems.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Administer anesthesia.
Experience
Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred, with a strong understanding of patient care practices.
Familiarity with medical terminology and coding is advantageous.
Experience using Dentrix software systems is highly desirable.
Knowledge of infection control standards and practices is essential.
Skills in taking vital signs.
