Job Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Dental Hygienist, where your expertise will play a vital role in promoting optimal oral health and delivering exceptional patient care. Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, dietary choices, and preventive care strategies.
Assist dentists during examinations, procedures, and treatments such as fillings, extractions, or other dental surgeries.
Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR management) accurately to ensure comprehensive medical documentation.
Monitor patient conditions during appointments, report findings promptly, and document medical terminology clearly.
Support infection control protocols through manual handling of sterilization processes and maintaining a sterile environment.
Experience
Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist or in a similar clinical setting with a focus on patient service excellence.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to oral health, diagnostics, and treatment procedures.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) management systems for efficient documentation.
Experience working with diverse patient populations in clinics or dental practices.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, explaining procedures clearly and empathetically.
Prior exposure to diagnostic radiology techniques relevant to dental care is preferred.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), along with blood sampling skills if applicable.
