Join our friendly, family dental practice as a Dental Hygienist and become a vital part of delivering exceptional oral healthcare! We are a patient-focused family dental practice looking for a reliable, and compassionate dental hygienist to join our wonderful team. In this energetic role, you will provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, promote patient education, and ensure a comfortable, positive experience for every patient. Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions to inform treatment plans.
Assist with chairside procedures such as taking dental radiographs, applying sealants, and providing fluoride treatments.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote lifelong dental health.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using Eaglesoft, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Follow strict infection control protocols including aseptic technique and sterilization of instruments to safeguard patient and staff health.
Support general dentistry and pediatric dentistry procedures by providing compassionate care tailored to pediatric patients and their unique needs.
Qualifications
Valid PA state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice in a clinical setting.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and documentation review processes.
Ability to perform vital signs measurement, medical imaging procedures, and patient assessment confidently.
Excellent communication skills to educate patients effectively while demonstrating professionalism in all interactions.
Knowledge of infection control standards, HIPAA compliance, and aseptic techniques essential for maintaining a safe clinical environment.
