At Simply Smiles Dentistry, we are passionate about creating positive patient experiences while providing high-quality dental care in a welcoming and supportive environment. We are looking for an energetic, compassionate, and team-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our growing practice.
We are also willing to reimburse board examination costs for the right candidate as part of our commitment to supporting professional growth and long-term success.
Position Summary
As a Dental Hygienist at Simply Smiles, you will play a vital role in improving our patients’ oral and overall health through preventive care, patient education, and exceptional clinical service. You will work closely with our doctor and team to create comfortable, personalized experiences for patients of all ages.
Responsibilities
Perform dental prophylaxis (routine cleanings) and periodontal maintenance procedures
Perform scaling and root planing (deep cleanings)
Administer local anesthesia/numbing as permitted by state regulations
Take digital X-rays and assist with diagnostic imaging
iTero Scanning
Conduct comprehensive periodontal charting and patient assessments
Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, home care, and preventive treatment
Review medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions
Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Dentrix and EMR systems
Follow strict infection control and sterilization protocols
Assist in creating a comfortable, positive patient experience
scheduling your patient's returning appointment
Support overall hygiene department efficiency and team collaboration
Perform additional hygiene-related duties as needed to support patient care
Qualifications
Active license
Strong communication and patient education skills
Experience with Dentrix preferred
Knowledge of general dentistry and periodontal treatment
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
Experience with pediatric patients is a plus
