Job Description
Overview
Looking for the right person to join our team. We are a well established and family orientated practice. If you are looking for part time for Tuesday and Thursday. If interested please send resume to our mail.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical histories, and reviewing medical records to ensure safe and effective treatment.
Assist with dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral health.
Take and develop dental radiographs (medical imaging) while adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, treatment plans, medical coding, and medical terminology in electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
Qualifications
Valid Dental Hygiene license in accordance with state regulations..
Proficiency with EMR systems like Eaglesoft familiarity with medical records management is a plus.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control standards, and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
Pay: $55.00 - $68.00 per hour
