Job Overview
Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Hygienist, where your expertise will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and promoting oral health. In this energetic and rewarding position, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental hygiene services, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and supporting the overall efficiency of our dental practice. Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments, ensuring optimal oral health for each patient
Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions to inform treatment plans
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care to promote long-term dental health
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance workflow efficiency
Take and develop medical imaging such as X-rays while adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
Review documentation for accuracy, update patient charts, and assist with medical coding for billing purposes
Qualifications
Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice in a clinical setting
Proven experience in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry environments, with familiarity in pediatric dentistry preferred
Proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy knowledge relevant to oral health care
Strong knowledge of infection control standards, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures within a dental office setting
Experience with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for documentation review and record keeping
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate clearly
Knowledge of medical records management, medical coding, and HIPAA compliance regulations

Half hour lunch break, Mostly 60 minute exams, a few 45 minute. Few kids, mostly older patients super easy going crowd. After 6 months paid Major Holidays and paid days off earned.
Pay: $53.00 - $60.00 per hour
