Dental Hygienist

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice on a permanent part-time basis every Friday. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming environment for both our patients and team members.

Responsibilities:

- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, removing plaque, and applying fluoride treatments

- Take and record patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure and pulse rate

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide recommendations for at-home care

- Taking digital dental x-rays

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic dental software (Dentrix)

- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative care.

-Assist in diagnosing oral health conditions alongside the dentist.

- Follow all HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality

- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment to maintain a clean and safe environment
Requirements:

- Valid state dental hygiene license

- Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology

- Proficiency in using dental software ( Dentrix) for patient records management

- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance in a dental office setting

- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients on oral health care
We are looking for a hygienists for Fridays 8am- 2pm

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
