Dental Hygienist

We are looking for a motivated and caring Dental Hygienist to help treat patients and promote good oral health practices. Must be passionate about the dental health of our patients, detail oriented, and a team player.

Competitive pay based on experience.

Must be a Registered Dental Hygienist with an active license, be comfortable giving anesthetic and taking radiographs.

Responsibilities
Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
Sterilize dental instruments
Conduct initial oral health screenings and medical history
Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
Clean and help protect patients’ teeth
Educate patients of all ages on proper oral hygiene
Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures
Take X-rays or dental impressions
Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
Monitor supplies
Skills
Experience as Dental Hygienist or similar role
In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)
Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment
Outstanding communication skills
A patient and friendly personality
Attention to detail
Stamina to meet the physical demands of the job
Registered/Certificate in Dental Hygiene
Valid license to practice
Pay: $45.00 - $53.00 per hour
