Job Description
Dental Hygienist
Fanelli & Row Dental Group, an established general dental practice in Rutherford, NJ, is seeking a dependable and patient-focused Dental Hygienist for a permanent part-time position.
Schedule:
Mondays
Fridays
Two Saturdays per month, approximately 8:00 a.m.–12:30/1:00 p.m.
This position offers a consistent schedule and the opportunity to develop your own regular patient base. Our patients value continuity and are generally scheduled with the same hygienist whenever possible.
Responsibilities:
Provide preventive and periodontal hygiene care
Obtain digital radiographs according to office protocols
Complete periodontal charting and clinical documentation
Educate patients regarding oral hygiene and recommended treatment
Maintain infection-control and sterilization standards
Communicate clinical findings with the treating dentist
Qualifications:
Active New Jersey Dental Hygienist license
Current CPR certification
Strong communication and clinical skills
Comfortable treating adults and children
Open Dental experience preferred but not required
Routine recall appointments are generally scheduled for 45 minutes, with 60 minutes for new patients.
