What You’ll Do
Deliver direct patient care using established dental hygiene procedures, including perio charting, medical history review, and dental charting.

Develop and implement individualized care plans, providing patient education and discharge planning.

Assess oral conditions and pathology, including examination of soft tissue, gums, and lymph nodes for signs of disease or oral cancer.

Administer local anesthetic agents; take and record vital signs prior to anesthesia administration.

Process digital images and chart conditions of decay and disease for physician diagnosis and treatment.

Respond to emergencies and perform patient triage as needed.

Set up and break down hygiene operatory rooms and prepare materials for prescribed treatments.

Follow OSHA protocols for sterilization and instrument maintenance; report equipment malfunctions to a supervisor.

Prepare and update patient letters and follow-up reports as required.

Any other relevant duties as assigned.

Requirements
Current Arizona RDH license; 2+ years of experience preferred - but we are always open to meeting with new graduates!

Local anesthesia license (required)
Passion for treating periodontal disease (required)
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with PerioVision and Dexis digital imaging software is a plus
Strong clinical assessment skills and manual dexterity
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first approach

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
