Join our dynamic dental team as a passionate and dedicated Dental Hygienist!

South Calgary Periodontal Group is a busy Periodontal practice in SE Calgary. We are professional, fast-paced, and focus on patient care.

We are currently seeking a Dental Hygienist with a minimum of 3 years of working experience to join our growing team. Currently offering 3-4 days per week.

The ideal candidate is proficient with all phases of routine dental care, including the removal of plaque and calculus, oral hygiene instruction, prophylaxis, dental xrays and oral cancer screening. The right professional will have prior experience working in a clinical setting and will be knowledgeable about the latest technologies. Bonus points for applicants who have worked with Cleardent and/or have prior experience working in a Periodontal office.

Responsibilities:
Provide local anesthetic to patients multiple times per day.

Examine patients thoroughly.

Assist patients in maintaining oral hygiene.

Perform advanced dental hygiene with hand instruments, as well as Perioflow treatment using EMS Airflow, and Woodpecker units.

Monitor and track a patient's dental condition; update radiographs when necessary.

Use good judgment when dealing with patients, visitors, families, and co-workers.

Have a positive attitude and work well with others.
