Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments, ensuring optimal oral health for each patient
Take and develop medical imaging such as X-rays while adhering to safety protocols and radiation guidelines
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to foster long-term health habits
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient records, treatment notes, and medical histories in electronic medical records
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriatelyQualifications
Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice
