Duties:
- Conduct patient assessments to identify oral health concerns and develop a personalized treatment plan.
- Utilize dental terminology and anatomy knowledge to perform dental cleanings, examinations, and other procedures.
- Interpret medical imaging and vital signs to provide a comprehensive diagnosis and treatment plan.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Document patient medical records accurately and efficiently.
- Implement aseptic technique and infection control measures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Provide pediatric dental care to children of all ages, ensuring a gentle and reassuring experience.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing and flossing techniques.
- Stay current with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve patient care.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in dental hygiene or related field.
- Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in the state where the job is located.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
- Knowledge of medical imaging and vital signs.
- Proficiency in dental terminology and anatomy.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation procedures.
- Experience in infection control and aseptic technique.
- Ability to work effectively with patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and adhering to professional standards.
Pay: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour
