Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately while adhering to safety protocols.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and personalized care plans to promote long-term dental health.
Assist in diagnosing oral health issues by reviewing patient histories and symptoms with the dentist.
Manage patient records accurately
Communicate effectively with patients to ensure understanding of treatment plans and instructions.
Collaborate with the dental team to streamline office operations, ensuring a smooth patient experience.
Requirement
Current registration with BCCOHP as a Dental Hygienist
Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with patients of all ages.
Bilingual abilities are highly valued for serving our diverse community effectively.
