Come join our growing team at Holmes Dental!
We are a growing dental office located in the heart of Kennewick focused on uncompromised quality dental care delivered in a comfortable environment. We place a huge emphasis on patient experiences and pride ourselves on treating patient and people first. We are looking to hire a part time dental hygienist. Hours are flexible and you would have control of your schedule. We currently have a two day hygiene work week. The practice is open three days a week and the position may grow into more days. Great opportunity for someone looking to pick up more hours or someone looking for a great work life balance. We are excited to hear from you.
Part time dental hygienist
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including but not limited to: oral prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, fluoride treatments
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for dental care
- Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) as necessary
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes
- Follow aseptic techniques to ensure infection control and patient safety
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality
Requirements:
- Valid dental hygiene license in Washington
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy related to oral health
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Proficiency in taking vital signs and conducting patient assessments
