Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional clinical skills, a passion for patient care, and a willingness to travel within designated regions. Responsibilities

- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and periodontal maintenance, with precision and efficiency.

- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, preventive care strategies, and post-treatment instructions to promote optimal oral health outcomes.

- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' oral health status, including examination of teeth, gums, and soft tissues, and collaborate with dentists to develop comprehensive treatment plans.

- Utilize digital dental technology and patient management systems (PMS) to maintain accurate records, track treatment progress, and facilitate seamless communication with team members.

- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols, sterilization procedures, and safety regulations to ensure a clean and hygienic mobile dental environment.

- Demonstrate empathy, professionalism, and respect for diverse patient populations while delivering compassionate care in various settings, including homes, schools, and community centers.

- Participate in outreach events, dental health screenings, and collaborative initiatives with partner organizations to promote oral health awareness and address community needs.

Qualifications

- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program and current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in Kentucky or Georgia (or ability to obtain licensure in these states).

- Proficiency in performing dental hygiene procedures, including knowledge of periodontal therapy, fluoride application, and dental radiography techniques.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively educate and engage patients of all ages and backgrounds in oral health promotion.

- Flexibility to travel within designated regions and participate in mobile dental clinics, outreach events, and community-based initiatives.

- Familiarity with dental practice management systems (PMS), preferably Dentrix Ascend, although proficiency with other systems will be considered.

- Commitment to maintaining professional development and staying abreast of advancements in dental hygiene techniques, technologies, and industry standards.
