Job Description
Dental Hygienist (Part-Time with Future Full-Time Opportunity)
Mid Valley Dental is currently seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our growing and established practice in a part-time role, with the opportunity to transition to full-time within 1–2 years.
Whether you're an experienced hygienist or a recent graduate looking to launch your career, we'd love to hear from you. We are willing to train the right candidate and support your professional growth.
Current part-time hours available are:
Mondays 7 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Fridays 7 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Fill in hours during the week as needed
What You'll Do
As a valued member of our clinical team, you will:
Provide patient education regarding oral hygiene, preventive care and nutrition
Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, cavitroning and polishing
Take and process dental radiographs
Apply fluoride treatments, sealants and other preventive materials
Conduct periodontal screenings and monitor oral health conditions
Administer local anesthetic
Provide laser-assisted hygiene therapy
Collaborate with the dentist and team members to deliver exceptional patient care
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
Qualifications
Active WI Registered Dental Hygienist License
Previous dental hygiene experience
Patient centric focus with a friendly and welcoming personality
Self-confidence in skill set
Outstanding ability for teamwork
Positive attitude in the face of challenges
High standard of professionalism
Great organizational skills
Experience with Eaglesoft preferred
