Job Overview
Boise Family Dental Care Is Adding To Our Dental Hygiene Team!
Available Position: Monday - Thursday 8 am to 4 pm
New graduates are welcome to apply!
We are a modern practice that is committed to providing excellent patient care and supporting our hygienists to excel in their practice with the following resources:
- State of the art Cavitrons and Hu-friedy instruments
- An iTero for the hygiene department to do wellness scans
- 60 minutes prophy appointments (no double hygiene!)
- 90 minute new patient and SRP appointments
- Monthly and quarterly incentives
Our ideal candidate is someone who is naturally optimistic, energetic, detail-oriented, and has a great work ethic. The pace of our office requires someone who is proactive, great at time management, a quick learner, and a multitasker.
Our team members work together to facilitate an excellent experience for patients and a smooth, efficient workflow. Hygiene patients spend more time with the hygienist than any other team member, so it is essential that our hygienists represent the practice professionally in their appearance, demeanor, and in all forms of communication.

Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal treatments using appropriate techniques and tools.
Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and documenting findings.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient care and clinic efficiency.
Experience
Experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply!
Qualifications
Idaho Registered Dental Hygienist license required
Current CPR certification
Pay: $49.00 - $50.00 per hour
