Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical history reviews, and evaluating oral health status.
Assist dentists during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to ensure efficiency and comfort.
Capture and interpret medical imaging such as X-rays, ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment plans, and post-procedure care to foster ongoing health.
Maintain accurate dental records by documenting treatments, medical information, and procedural notes.
Follow strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to prevent cross-contamination and ensure patient safety.
Requirements:
Licensed Dental Hygienist (PA license required)
Prior clinical experience preferred.
