Flexible Schedule- Seeking Dental Hygenist to work 6-11 days per month. Can be some half days.

Office is open: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and 1 Saturday per month. Office is currently closed Thursdays. Office located in Joliet and open 9am-4pm. Nice staff and older patient base.

Hygenist is free to choose their days; open to half days.

Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing quality oral healthcare to our patients. Duties: - Perform dental prophylaxis, including removing plaque, calculus, and stains from teeth - Conduct thorough oral assessments and screenings - Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) - Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions - Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and materials - Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft - Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care - Follow infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment Requirements: - Valid state dental hygiene license - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program - Proficient knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions - Experience working in a dental office setting preferred - Strong communication skills to effectively educate and interact with patients - Familiarity with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft - Ability to take accurate vital signs and perform medical coding for insurance purposes - Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus We offer competitive compensation based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes dental insurance, and paid time off.
