Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to maintain optimal oral health.
Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions to inform treatment plans.
Take and develop medical imaging such as X-rays while adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote lifelong dental health.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, treatment notes, and medical histories in patient chart.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality and managing medical records securely.
Experience
RDH License required.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control standards, and medical coding practices.
Demonstrated ability to perform chairside assisting tasks efficiently while maintaining excellent patient care standards.
Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and vital signs monitoring is essential for comprehensive patient assessment.
Pay: From $36.00 per hour
