Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting optimal oral health. This role requires a thorough understanding of dental procedures, patient management, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Assess patients' oral health by taking vital signs and reviewing medical records.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in pediatric dentistry procedures, ensuring a friendly and supportive atmosphere for young patients.
Maintain accurate medical and dental records using Eaglesoft software.
Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosing dental conditions.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Requirements
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Proficiency in dental terminology and medical terminology is essential.
Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
Strong knowledge of general dentistry practices, including pediatric dentistry experience is a plus.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain procedures clearly to patients.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are required for maintaining accurate records.
