Job Summary
Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Hygienist, where your expertise will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and promoting optimal oral health. Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque, tartar, and stains.

Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical history updates, and oral examinations to identify potential issues.

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and treatment options to promote long-term dental health.

Assist with various dental procedures such as prosthodontics (crowns, bridges), orthodontics (braces, aligners), oral surgery, endodontics (root canals), and periodontics (gum disease treatment).

Manage electronic medical records (EMR systems) like Eaglesoft and Dentrix to ensure accurate documentation of treatments, medical coding, and patient information while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure seamless patient care delivery in general dentistry settings.

Support the dental office team by handling patient scheduling, answering questions related to dental terminology, and ensuring smooth clinic operations.

Qualifications
Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice.

Proven experience in dental office environments with familiarity in dental assisting procedures.

Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and medical documentation standards.

Proficiency in EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for efficient record keeping.

Experience working with diverse specialties including pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and periodontics is highly desirable.

Excellent communication skills to educate patients effectively and work collaboratively within a team.

Ability to assess patient needs accurately through clinical evaluation and vital signs measurement while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
