An Exciting Job Opportunity as a Dental Hygienist
If you’re searching for a rewarding career as a Dental Hygienist in a private practice setting, look no further. We have a full-time (30-32 hours/week, Tue, Wed, Thr, Fri-half day) or part-time position (days flexible) available for an outgoing & motivated dental hygienist. Competitive hourly wage. Newly graduated Dental Hygienists are welcome to apply for the position as well pending Illinois licensure. As a Dental Hygienist, you will clean teeth and examine the patient oral cavity, head and neck for signs of oral disease. You will also record and review patient medical histories. Additional responsibilities and requirements of the Dental Hygienist include:
Cleaning calculus deposits, accretions and stains from teeth and beneath gum margins with dental instruments
Charting conditions of dental decay and disease for diagnosis and treatment by the dentist
Maintaining and sterilizing dental equipment
Applying fluorides and other cavity preventing agents to prevent dental decay
Requirements to Apply:
Ability to prepare dental equipment and instruments
Excellent working knowledge of overall dentistry and dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
Valid or pending Dental Hygienist licensure in the State of Illinois
Digital X-ray experience is a plus
Clean, neat appearance
Efficient with your time
Education:
Graduate of Dental Hygiene Program approved by the Commission on Dental Accreditation for the industry credentials of RDH / Registered Dental Hygienist

Pay: $49-$50.50/per hour
