Experienced Registered Dental Hygienist
Making Awesome Smiles | Royal Palm Beach, FL
Four-Day Workweek. Exceptional Patients. A Team That Values Great Hygiene.
Monday through Thursday
Making Awesome Smiles of Royal Palm Beach is looking for an experienced Registered Dental Hygienist who takes tremendous pride in their clinical care, patient relationships and attention to detail.
Minimum 6 years of clinical dental hygiene experience required.
We’re looking for the hygienist who knows their patients.
The one who remembers what was discussed at the last visit.
The one who catches the little things.
The one who doesn’t just perform a cleaning, but takes the time to understand what is happening in the patient’s mouth, educate them and prepare them for what comes next.
Your Role Goes Beyond Hygiene
In our practice, the hygienist is an important clinical partner to the doctor.
Before the doctor walks into your room, you’ve already done the groundwork.
You’ve reviewed the patient’s history.
You’ve completed thorough periodontal charting.
You’ve taken and reviewed the necessary diagnostics.
You’ve listened to the patient’s concerns.
You’ve identified changes.
And most importantly, you’ve started educating the patient about what you’re seeing and why it matters.
When the doctor enters the room, you are ready with a concise clinical preheat so the doctor immediately understands the patient’s concerns, your findings and what has already been discussed.
The doctor shouldn’t have to start from zero.
You set the stage for an exceptional exam.

Use periodontal charting, digital X-rays, intraoral images and conversation to help patients SEE and understand what you see.
When the doctor makes a recommendation, it shouldn’t feel like information coming out of nowhere.
Clinical Partnership
You anticipate what the doctor needs.
You communicate clearly.
You provide a strong handoff.
And you work together to make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 6 years of clinical dental hygiene experience
Active Florida Registered Dental Hygienist license
Exceptional periodontal assessment and charting skills
Strong understanding of periodontal disease and periodontal therapy
Excellent digital radiography skills
Confidence with patient education and treatment conversations
Ability to identify and communicate changes in a patient’s oral health
Strong doctor/hygienist handoffs
Excellent clinical documentation
Attention to the smallest details
Warm, confident patient communication
Dependability and accountability
A team-first attitude
