Dental Hygienist

At Welly Dental Studio, we believe dentistry can feel calm, personal, and unrushed. We're a privately owned boutique practice built around one idea: a better dental experience. For many patients, the hygiene visit is the heart of that experience, which makes this one of the most important roles on our team.

We're a growing practice, and we're looking for a motivated and upbeat Registered Dental Hygienist to care for our patients on Fridays. This role starts at one day a week, with room to add days as our patient base grows. It's a chance to help build a hygiene program from the early days, not just step into one.

What you'll do

- Welcome each guest and help them feel calm and cared for from the first minute

- Provide adult and child prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing

- Complete periodontal charting and assess gum health at every visit

- Take digital X-rays and intraoral photos

- Review medical histories and screen for oral cancer

- Explain findings and home care in plain, reassuring language

- Partner with the doctor on diagnosis and help patients understand recommended care

- Share our membership plan with patients who would benefit

- Keep hygiene recare current so patients leave with their next visit booked

- Complete clinical notes the same day

- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards

- Come to morning huddle prepared for the day's patients
What you'll need

- Active Florida Registered Dental Hygienist license (required)

- Current CPR/BLS certification (required)

- Radiology Certification (Required)

- Local Anesthesia Certification (Required)

- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience (Required)

Schedule

- Fridays only to start

- Shift hours 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch

- Morning huddle at 8:40 AM

- Patient hours 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Pay and job type

- Pay: $38 to $48 per hour, based on experience

- Job type: Part-time, in person, Brandon, FL
Pay: $38.00 - $48.00 per hour
