Overview
Bristol Dental Arts is seeking a passionate and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. Responsibilities
Build trust and establish genuine, long-lasting relationships with patients through outstanding communication and compassionate care.
Perform comprehensive dental hygiene assessments, including oral cancer screenings.
Complete periodontal charting, evaluation, and ongoing periodontal maintenance.
Provide scaling and root planing therapy and administer local anesthesia as permitted by state regulations.
Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, treatment recommendations, and home care techniques.
Take high-quality digital radiographs and maintain accurate clinical records.
Collaborate with doctors and team members to deliver personalized, comprehensive patient care.
Maintain the highest standards of infection control, patient safety, and clinical excellence.
Create a positive patient experience that promotes comfort, trust, and lifelong oral health.
Qualifications
Current Dental Hygienist license in the State of Connecticut (or eligibility for licensure).
Current certifications required by state regulations.
Strong clinical skills and attention to detail.
Exceptional communication and patient education abilities.
A positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.
Experience with digital radiography and electronic dental records preferred.
