Job Description
Currently seeking a motivated, self-starter to join our wonderful, no-drama team at Endicott Dental.
Responsibilities
Establish and maintain professional relationship with our wonderful patients.
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to promote optimal oral health.
Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions to inform treatment plans.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using dental imaging equipment while ensuring patient safety through proper aseptic techniques.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to enhance their understanding of dental health.
Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR/EMR systems) by documenting treatment details, medical information, and patient interactions in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Manage infection prevention protocols by adhering to healthcare infection control standards and maintaining sterilization of dental equipment.
Monitor patient comfort throughout procedures, including taking vital signs and assessing overall patient care needs.
Review documentation for accuracy and completeness, including medical coding and medical records management.
Help the team and maintain a team player mentality for the benefit of our patients.
Requirements:
~Current license in the state of Oklahoma as a Registered Dental Hygienist.
~Experience preferred.
~Positive demeanor and can-do attitude.
~Self-starter
