Job Description

Overview
Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Hygienist on Tuesday's & Wednesday's and become a vital part of delivering exceptional oral healthcare! In this energetic role, you will provide top-tier patient care by performing professional cleanings, assessments, and preventive treatments that promote healthy smiles. Duties
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.

Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions to inform treatment plans.

Assist with chairside procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to ensure efficient and comfortable patient experiences.

Take and interpret medical imaging such as X-rays while adhering to infection control and aseptic techniques.

Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote lifelong oral health.

Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, treatment notes, and medical history in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) Dentrix.

Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality and secure handling of medical records and documentation review processes.

Experience
Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a busy dental office or clinic environment.

Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and medical coding standards.

Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices and working with children is highly desirable.

Proficiency with EMR systems such as Dentrix for documentation and record management.

Strong understanding of medical terminology, vital signs monitoring, and medical imaging procedures.

Experience with dental assisting techniques, aseptic procedures, and infection prevention measures.

Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
