We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities
Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup, ensuring optimal oral health for patients.
Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions to inform treatment plans.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies tailored to their individual needs.
Operate dental imaging equipment to capture high-quality radiographs necessary for diagnosis and treatment planning.
Follow strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Support general dentistry practices with knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and pediatric dentistry when applicable.
Uphold standards of patient care by demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail in all interactions.
Qualifications
Valid licensure as a Dental Hygienist in accordance with state or regional regulations.
Proven experience working within dental clinics or offices with proficiency in dental assisting and hygiene procedures.
Knowledge of infection control standards, aseptic techniques, and sterilization processes.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about oral health practices.
Pay: $49.99 - $60.20 per hour
