Job Description
Clinical Magnet, a division of ICON Medical Network, has a need for a Dental Hygienist with a well-established DPO. Located in Charlottesville, VA!
Job Details:
4 day work week

Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
Assist dentists during various procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency.
Take and develop dental radiographs (medical imaging) while maintaining strict infection control and aseptic techniques.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
Review documentation, update medical records, and assist with medical coding to ensure precise billing processes.
Qualifications
Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations.
Proficiency in dental software systems such as Open Dental is highly preferred.
Experience in pediatric dentistry or working with pediatric patients is a plus.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and aseptic technique.
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively.
Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems and documentation review processes.
Pay: $58.00 - $59.00 per hour
