Job Description
Competitive pay !! We are a private family practice seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for patient care and oral health, with comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, infection control, and patient assessment.
Current available schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Conduct initial patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions.
Take and develop dental radiographs (medical imaging) while adhering to proper aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, dietary considerations, and preventive care strategies.
Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration to support overall patient health assessments.
Ensure all clinical areas are sanitized according to infection control standards and maintain a sterile environment.
Skills
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and general dentistry procedures.
Familiarity with infection control practices, aseptic technique, and sterilization procedures.
