Dental Hygienist

```Duties```

- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, removing plaque, and applying fluoride treatments, treating, and managing gingivitis/periodontal disease.

- Conduct patient assessments and document medical history, including vital signs and dental conditions

- Take dental x-rays and process medical imaging using appropriate equipment and techniques

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, providing necessary instruments and materials

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide recommendations for at-home care

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft

- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times

- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care
```Qualifications```

- Valid state license as a Dental Hygienist

- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program

- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and procedures

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to work well with patients of all ages
