Job Description
Dental Hygienist
Schedule: Monday & Wednesday | 6:45 AM – 4:00 PM
We are seeking a long-term, part-time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team on Mondays and Wednesdays. We are looking to fill this position immediately, with a preferred start date of July 6, 2026. This is a supportive role within an established, upscale, and thriving private general dental practice located in Dunwoody.
We are a laid-back, team-oriented office that values excellent patient care, strong communication, and a positive work environment. Our hygiene appointments are scheduled for one hour, allowing our team to provide quality care without feeling rushed. We work together as a cohesive team, with both clinical and administrative staff supporting one another to create an exceptional patient experience.
Qualifications:
Current Dental Hygienist license in the State of Georgia
2+ years of clinical dental hygiene experience preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Positive attitude and strong team-player mentality
Self-motivated, dependable, and organized
Ability to build rapport with patients and educate them on their oral health needs
PracticeWorks software experience is a plus
Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Dunwoody
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality preventive and periodontal care
Perform patient assessments, charting, and documentation
Educate patients on oral health and treatment recommendations
Assist in maintaining hygiene schedule productivity
Build lasting patient relationships and contribute to practice growth
Collaborate with the entire team to deliver outstanding patient care
The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, professional, and enjoys building long-term relationships with patients. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates effectively, and wants to be part of a supportive practice that values both its patients and team members.
Schedule Details:
Monday: 6:45 AM huddle; patients begin at 7:00 AM; no scheduled lunch break
Wednesday: 6:45 AM huddle; patients begin at 7:00 AM; one-hour unpaid lunch
Compensation:
Competitive pay based on experience.
