Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions
Assist with chairside procedures, including four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and comfort
Take and develop medical images such as X-rays while adhering to infection control protocols
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and treatment plans to improve their dental health outcomes
Skills
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and general dentistry procedures
Skilled in chairside assisting with a focus on four-handed dentistry practices
Ability to accurately measure vital signs and perform basic medical assessments
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times
Excellent patient care skills with a focus on effective communication and patient education

Pay: From $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8.0 – 16.0 per week
